CANTO VIII and IX - The City of Dys

Dante and Virgil continue their journey through Hell, heading towards a nearby tower. A small vessel hurries towards them, carrying their ferryman, Flegias. They continue their journey through the remaining four circles of Hell, facing a guarded entrance to the city called Dis before meeting the Erinyes, who invoke Medusa to punish Dante.
