CANTO VI - Gluttony

Dante wakes up in the third circle, Gluttony, where sinners lack self-control and indulge in immediate gratification. They suffer in an environment deprived of their once-enjoyed delicacies, enduring an incessant tormenting rain. Cerberus, the savage beast, symbolizes the three characteristics of gluttony.
