CANTO VII Part 2 - Wrath

Dante and Virgil reach the fourth circle, where they find a pool of dark water leading to the Styx. Crossing the water, they enter the fifth circle, where souls who succumbed to wrath and anger reside. The circle is home to two types of sinner: those who harm themselves and others out of anger, and those who are submerged in water as punishment for passive wrath.
